HMP NOT-4-ME was born in 2014 after the founder, Mick Amos, served as a police officer for over 10 years. Always passionate about education, part of his service was as a police schools liaison officer where he worked in over 75 different schools delivering crime prevention advice, liaising with over 50 different agencies.
We have grown from delivering in a few primary schools to delivering in secondary schools, colleges and a range of organisations from NCS, football clubs, councils and youth organisations.
HMP NOT-4-ME is a respected and trusted organisation that delivers high quality education with proven outcomes and feedback including saving a life and empowering a girl of Pakistani origin (who couldn’t speak English when she first came to the UK) to join the West Yorkshire Police.
Mick Amos connects with listeners through humour, passion, and captivating content. With a natural charisma and confident presence, he holds attention effortlessly while conveying key messages in an impactful way.
Learners walk away not only informed but truly inspired by the memorable stories and unique insights. Teachers and peers often comment how he can engage the hardest to reach learners as commendable.
